2013 "The Archimage" Red Blend 1500mL
The 2013 Archimage is composed of 56% Cabernet Franc, 38% Merlot, and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. It was aged for 20 months in 40% new French oak. Sourcing our fruit from both the Red Mtn. AVA and the Walla Walla Valley AVA allows us to blend a complete and complex wine. This vintage of the Archimage leads off with a floral nose of exotic spice box, red fruits, and notes of cedar. Flavors of red and black cherries, blueberries, and a dusty earthiness are wrapped around a core of plush but firm tannins. The warm vintage of 2013 gives this wine a rich texture, and is full bodied, all the while maintaining a vibrant acidity which will allow this wine to age gracefully for the next 2 decades.

2013 Sleight Of Hand The Archimage 91 Points Wine Advocate
"The 2013 The Archimage (56% Cabernet Franc, 38% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon) shows a darker, smoky edge, with more black olive, ripe black fruits and graphite emerging with time in the glass. Like a lot of 2013s, it lacks a huge back-end level of concentration, yet has medium to full-bodied richness, excellent purity and ripe tannin, all suggesting it will drink well for a decade or more."
