2018 "The Archimage" Red Blend 1500mL

The 2018 Archimage, comprised of 52% Cabernet Franc and 48% Merlot, was aged for 20 months in 40% new French oak. Our Estate Vineyard blocks, located in both the Walla Walla and Red Mountain AVAs, make up the entirety of this incredible wine. It has aromas and flavors of dark plums, exotic spices, wet stones, anise, a hint of cedar, and fresh picked herbs, along with both red and black cherries. The oak notes complement and lift the fruit and earthy elements of this wine, and the terrific acidity adds freshness to the long, lingering finish. The tannins are prominent yet completely integrated and will help this wine age for the next two decades, and perhaps longer!
