2019 "The Illusionist" Cabernet Sauvignon 1500mL

The fruit for our 2016 Illusionist was sourced from our Estate blocks planted in Walla Walla, Red Mountain, and Horse Heaven Hills AVAs. It was aged for 20 months in 64% new French oak barrels. 2016 was a warm vintage in Washington, and it left an indelible thumbprint on the final wine. It has a beautiful, deep red cherry color, with a gorgeous, savory nose of leather, tobacco, black cherries, vanilla bean, and warm spices. Flavors of plums, dark chocolate, blackberries, and savory herbs are followed by rich, plush tannins and fresh acidity that will ensure that this wine ages gracefully for the next 15-20 years.
