2021 "The Enchantress" Chardonnay 750mL

In 2021, our French Creek Vineyard Chardonnay cropped out at a meager 2.25 tons per acre. This low yield, coupled with the fact that it was fermented and aged on the lees for ten months in neutral French oak barrels, resulted in a wine that is dramatic, focused, elegant, and stunning. On the nose, you get white flowers, wet stone, and lemon curd. It's richly textured, yet vibrant and precise, aided by the beautiful natural acidity. It has terrific and persistent length on the finish and should age beautifully for the next decade.
