2022 "The Enchantress" Chardonnay 750mL
The 2022 Enchantress Chardonnay comes from 40+ year old French Creek Vineyard, in the southeast part of the Yakima Valley. Gorgeously ripe, yet restrained, the 2022 Enchantress shows notes of Meyer lemons, freshly picked green apples, a touch of apricot, and wet stone. Aged for 11 months in only 12% new French oak, it’s both elegant and refined, and an age-worthy example of this amazing varietal. As always, it is best enjoyed with great friends and great music!

International Wine Report - (93 Points)
Resting 11 months in about 12% new French oak barrels, the 2022 Enchantress Chardonnay from SOFH sports a medium lemon core with a neon yellow rim. Creamy on the nose with aspects of crushed peaches, creme brulee, toasted almonds, and grilled lemon zest, it produces a lush, rich, and full-bodied finish. It's a lovely expression of Washington State Chardonnay. 365 cases produced. 2024-2030

The 2022 Enchantress Chardonnay comes from teh French Creek Vineyard and was brought up in 12% new French oak. Fresh stone fruits, orange blossom, spice, and a kiss of chalky minerality all emerge on the nose, and it's medium-bodied, balanced, and beautifully textured, with a clean finish. It's a well made Chardonnay that has plenty of love and the ability to keep for 2-3 years.

French Creek Vineyard and it's 40+ year old vines yield this wine. Aromas of toast, char, pear, freshly cut apple, and peach are followed by a rich, nectarous peach and apricot filled palate. A stone fruit-laden finish caps it off. 13.4% alcohol.
