2022 "Levitation" Reserve Syrah 750mL
Our 2022 Levitation Syrah is an absolute blockbuster of a wine! 100% Syrah sourced from two amazing high elevation vineyard sites; Lewis Vineyard (61%), in the Yakima Valley, and Les Collines Vineyard (39%) in the Walla Walla Valley. The wine has an impenetrable dark violet-purple color that leads to an explosion of primary fruits like ripe black cherries and blackberries, along with some tar, smoked meats, and bright, juicy minerality and hints of orange rind. This is a candidate for the cellar and will reward you with 12-15 years down the road, but you won’t be disappointed if you pop one sooner! Make sure to decant this baby, and enjoy with great food, music, and of course, your friends! Cheers!

Grapes from Lewis and Les Collines are on display here, high elevation sites that put an emphasis on clarity, crisp detail, and clean varietal fruit set against savory herbs and sassy citrus. The bright berry fruit is lined with orange peel and other citrus highlights that carry into a tight, sharp finish. This will want decanting and/or further bottle age to unpack all the details. If you favor the savory, earthy, northern Rhône style of Syrah, choose this one. 14.6%; $65 (Columbia Valley) 95/100

Jeb Dunnuck:
Beautiful dark berry fruits, peppery herbs, game, graphite, and violet notes all emerge from the 2019 Syrah Levitation Reserve, a Saint-Joseph-like Syrah that's medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced, and elegant. I love its tannins, and the purity of fruit is top notch. Drink it over the coming decade. This wine is 100% Syrah that saw 52% stems and 16 months in a mix of concrete and 20% new French oak puncheons. 95 Points
