2023 "The Magician" Riesling 750mL
The 2023 Magician Riesling comes from Evergreen Vineyard in the Ancient Lakes AVA, located high above the Columbia River near George, WA. The 2023 growing season started off quite cool, but by May above normal temps caught us back up. The warm summer let to a long and cool Autumn, perfect for ripening Riesling! Our grapes from the vintage were beautifully balanced, with incredible vibrancy and tension paired with gorgeous notes of peach blossom, green apples, honeysuckle, and a hint of wet rocks and petrol. This wine is virtually bone dry, with just under 2g/L of residual sugar. The racy acidity makes this the perfect pairing with spicy foods like Thai, Indian, and even BBQ! The 2021 Sleight of Hand ‘The Magician’ Riesling was produced from vines sourced from the Evergreen Vineyard in the Ancient Lakes AVA. This very dry, Trocken-style Riesling reveals gooseberry notes alongside kiwi, wet stone and plenty of nerve. Pair this beautiful Riesling with Thai green papaya salad. Drink 2022-2028
