2021 "The Archimage" Red Blend 1500mL
The 2020 Archimage is an alluring blend of 55% Cabernet Franc and 45% Merlot, sourced from our estate blocks at Blue Mt. Vineyard and Red Mt. Vineyard. The wine was aged for 20 months in 50% new French oak. This vintage of Archimage is especially fragrant, with scents and flavors of green peppercorn, leather, rose petals, Asian spices, and a combination of dark plums and red cherries. It has a terrific, silky texture, mouth-filling tannins, and it is built for aging. Enjoy this wine over the next 15-20 years. It’s best served with great food and great friends.
2019 Sleight of Hand. ‘The Archimage Reserve’ Red Wine- The 2019 ‘The Archimage’ Red Wine is a silky, Right-bank inspired blend of equal parts Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Fresh and beautifully textured, with good length, this shows off red rose petals alongside espresso bean, red currants and pipe tobacco on the palate. Already nicely evolved, this has both the depth and finesse to cellar well for another fifteen years. Drink 2022-2037- 93
