The 2022 Sleight of Hand Cellars Off He Goes Syrah from the Walla Walla Valley shines with a dark plum core and offers an aromatic profile that feels both wild and alluring. Scents of black raspberry, boysenberry, dried violets, and cracked pepper intermingle with subtle notes of incense and white pepper spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied yet layered, delivering flavors of mulberry, pomegranate, and savory herbs, accented by mineral undertones. The acidity is bright, giving lift to the fruit, while the tannins slowly gather, adding grip and structure without harshness. The finish extends with a mix of fruit, spice, and earth, leaving a lasting impression of elegance and energy. Better in 2026. Highly recommended.- Jeremy Young
