2024 "The Sorceress" Reserve Grenache 750mL - NEW WINE CLUB RELEASE
The 2024 Sorceress Grenache is 100% Grenache from WeatherEye Vineyard (located atop red Mtn.) and Les Collines (on the cooler, Eastern Ridge of the Walla Walla Valley). The wine saw 75% whole-cluster inclusion during its cool native fermentation and then rested in neutral French oak puncheons and barrels on its lees for 16 months before bottling. With classic Washington State Grenache notes of black cherries, blackberries, and cherry cola, the earthy undertones of desert sage remind of where this wine is rooted. It's energetic from the lively acidity and stem inclusion, however the tannins are refined and elegant, making for a luxurious mouthfeel. The 2024 Sorceress should age well for the next decade but why wait? Drink with great food, great music, and great friends. Cheers!

All Grenache, the 2019 Grenache The Sorceress Reserve reveals a translucent ruby/purple color as well as pretty, savory red fruits, sandalwood, and spicy aromas and flavors. Lightly textrured and medium-bodied, with some obvious minerality, it't beautifully balanced and capable of keeping for 7-8 years. 92 Points
